Achieving Career Success in Oncology: A Practical Guide
ASCO designed this guide as a practical resource for oncology fellows and junior faculty who are in the process of choosing a career path. The guide offers a comprehensive look at the multiple career settings available to oncology trainees: academia, community practice, the pharmaceutical industry, and government agencies. Readers will also find advice on career development issues that are universal to all oncology professionals, such as time management, leadership, and conflicts of interest. Both the print and online formats of Achieving Career Success in Oncology are now available for purchase through ASCO.org.

The Oncology Electronic Health Record (EHR) Field Guide
This comprehensive, oncology-specific handbook was developed to equip practitioners with the information and resources needed to select and implement current and future oncology-specific EHRs for clinical practice and management as well as quality-of-care measurement and improvement. The guide addresses core functionalities desired in an oncology-specific EHR and provides guidance for practitioners who are interested in incorporating the technology into their practices. The Oncology Electronic Health Record Field Guide is now available for purchase at www.asco.org/ehrfieldguide.

2008 Educational Book
The 2008 Educational Book contains the practice-changing science and innovative research that was presented at the 2008 Annual Meeting. The 91 original manuscripts in the book were submitted by speakers and chairs of Educational Sessions and provide convenient access to this year’s Meeting content. Each article contains a list of the manuscript’s key points, facilitating an easy review of the content. The 2008 Educational Book was distributed at the Annual Meeting and is now available in print, on CD-ROM, and online at ASCO.org. The ASCO Educational Book is also now available on Highwire Press at edbook.ascopubs.org.

It provides expert commentary about key research findings and their clinical applications and includes reprints of all presented abstracts for easy reference, as well as information about the latest treatment modalities, technologic advances, and trends in emerging oncology fields.
